I went over to Jessica's house yesterday and we hung out most of the day. That was nice. We swam in Jess's nice pool and then laid out in the sun to dry and I picked up a nice tan after being white all winter. I love being able to tan so fast like that.
I finished The Blooding. I thought I had it all worked out (don't you hate it when they give you the whole story on that inside flap!), but it turned out to be a lot different then I had imagined. I like the character of Derek, even if he was . . . a little cruel, perhaps. Is that the word I'm looking for?
Nothing going on today. Ate lunch at Grandma's and now my mom's helping her mom put up pictures in that room we just redid.
Summer School starts Tuesday, but Evan might not be there 'till Wednesday because he could be in Louisiana. Oh, well, Brady and I got along just fine w/o him last time. I really hope Brady's there, if not, it's gonna be miserable for me. Maybe I just won't go on Tuesday? But that'd leave Brady by himself and we all said we were gonna go and he did let me draw that smiley face on his knee. That's a legally binding contract in Brady's world.
(Lalalala Brady's world, Brady's world,
Brady loves his dog,
his computer too,
that's Brady's world!)
Oh, Idk. I'll work it out and probably go. If he's late or doesn't show--- maybe that one girl, whatsername, will be there! The one with the aunt. Yeah. Hmm?
I wish I'd brought another book with me. *sigh*
"Winnie the Poe, Winnie the Poe,
He'll give arsenic to all of you,
He's Winnie the Poe, Winnie the Poe,
Hiding his little dagger!"
That's another one of Brady's songs. Let's see what else have we got? There was one about Greg doing the Cancan. Let's see if I can remember it.
"Greg, he loves to do the cancan,
Loves to do it everyday,
But he thinks he's cool,
Because he is the Trumpinator . . ."
There was more, but that's all I can remember. It doesn't exactly fit, but it's pretty good.
There was the ever popular Wisconsin Song! But I can only remember the last line.
"And that's where I got my American,
Way down in Wisconsin."
---And we were dum-dum-dumber than the dir-dir-dirt on the ground . . .
