KC at three

I just woke up from a . . . 10 hour nap from 10 this morning to 8pm. I only slept 2 hours last night because I spent most of it chugging caffeinated beverages and looking for a million dollars.
We went to our prescouted position in KC at 8pm yesterday and made it up there at one. We parked in a long term garage and trudged out to the park where the coin was supposed to be. Most of us were wearing two jackets. There were around a dozen searchers total, not counting the four of us.
We poked around the ice and frozen mud looking for this coin for about three hours when we decided to stop searching and start watching. We thought maybe they hadn't put it out yet. We got the car and parked near the park, keeping tabs on the other searchers. We were trying to figure out which ones were from Dr.Pepper (the company sponsoring this thing).
To make a long story short we didn't find the coin, but we found a golf ball, two pairs of muddy boots, a muddy jacket, a lonely glove, a pair of women's gloves, and a diet Dr. Pepper can.
We waited until six, still keeping tabs, so we could go to Union Station and use their bathrooms.
We drove back home and I slept a little then, bringing my grand total up to two hours instead of just one.
We got home and I got my crap in the house and went down stairs, falling asleep as soon as I hit the futon. CX
Now I feel like crap cause I slept all day, but it's LOST night! Yay.
Did you like my story? No one tells me anything.

--- I struggle for the words and then give up.
