My excuse this morning is the fact that I wasn't allowed on the computer last night. Hey! This thing puts little lines under words you spell wrong now! Cool!
Twilight Time Between: Came in early to work on my art project.
Health: Karen brought in this spicy chicken soup stuff for no reason at all and we were eating that when over the intercom a voice says "Teachers lock your doors, turn off your lights, and get your students against the back wall. We're on lock down." I wasn't terribly scared by this but some of the other girls were. I'd been hanging out with Tori and eating my soup stuff with Doritos when lock down came into effect. We were all sitting quietly in the dark and this tall man with a gun breaks through the window, the security wires having no effect, and shoots me dead. And now I'm just a corpse typing this to you.
Well, that's what could've happened. What really happened was we sat until the intercom told us it was okay to get up now, but to leave the doors and windows locked and not to leave the classroom, even when the bell rang. So we sat in health until halfway through second hour when we were dismissed.
Geometry: Wow, you know I've been spelling that wrong every day? The rest of the day went as usual except that teachers were keeping hallway traffic to a minimum. But Mrs. Brusselsprouts took us on a group bathroom trip because she had to go and didn't want to leave us alone in an unlocked room . . . or alone in a locked room either. "So who are we eating first?" You know rumors were flying about what really happened during the lock down. "Bin Laden was here with thirteen camels toting AK47's!" In the actual class we did something with triangles; it wasn't exciting.
English: We got the official story on what happened. "Somewhere in one of three counties, including ours, there was an anonymous threat to an anonymous school. Every school in these counties has been on lock down for the day." Poor Sam, she got here late because of a doctors appointment and was locked out of the building. She had to tap on Mr. Parking's window to get him to let her in. Evan, Sam, someone else, and I took the test from Friday that we missed. XP
Lunch: Evan and I talked about THE END a little and I don't remember anything else.
Advisory: Reading day. I read more of In the Devil's Snare which I have to finish and write a report on by the end of the month. XP Sux.
Phys Sci: We're doing electron dot graphs and I don't like them. XP I suck at puzzles where you have to put the shapes together in just the right way. Like those dumb tangram things. I hate those. Had homework.
Art: Worked on my Heartless Radial Design project. I'm now working on the warm colors, yay!
Am His: Took notes. No fun. XP
Biology: If Evan doesn't SHUT UP in that class he's getting us a seating chart. I'm really beginning to loath having that class with him. I should've taken by myself. XL
After school I hung out with Mr.B until he left. We talked about bands and things.
I was miserable yesterday. I tried to take a nap three times and every time Liza woke me up. XP Sux. One time she had an ice cube. I watched that show Heroes Brady's always talking about. When I was trying to go to bed, brushing my teeth, I managed to blow a spit bubble. It popped and got toothpaste in my eyes. I went to bed and tried not to hurt myself anymore. I woke up at two then and didn't go back to sleep 'til four. I'm really sleepy right now. XP
